Now this is a road picture! Spike Lee's "Get On the Bus" chronicles a fictitious group of African-American men who attend the real Million Man March. Pilgrims from the infamous South Central Los Angeles cross the country to Washington, DC and become more than friends. Lee gathers a cross-section, the wise old man to the straight forward cop and puts them in an intense situation. As they debate the issues that are important to them, and joke about each other they let us learn about ourselves as they learn about each other. Rated R, this is not just an black movie. "Get On the Bus" speaks to everyone.
