An Englishman Who Went Up a Hill and Came Down a Mountain is so much more than Hugh Grant looking good. World War I is raging and Grant arrives with fellow map maker, Ian McNeice to measure, Ffynnon Garw, the local landmark. The eccentric Welshmen and women of this village are called to action when the "mountain" is found to be fifteen feet short of officially being a mountain. Colm Meaney of Star Trek and Deep Space Nine is the real star as Morgan the Goat (as in randy as a goat). And Kenneth Griffith as Rev. Jones is priceless as his nemesis.
