Brad and Caroline were the toast of New York. They had everything in the world two people could want--except a loving marriage and an honest accountant.

Now they're fugitives on the run, looking for a place to hide.

Sometimes all it takes to save a marriage is some hard work and a hearty meal.

Two of America's most popular comic actors, Tim Allen and Kirstie Alley, are perfectly paired in For Richer or Poorer, a new romantic comedy from Universal Pictures and The Bubble Factory. As Brad and Caroline Sexton, two Manhattan socialites on the lam from the IRS who hide out in Amish country posing as the long-lost relatives of a local farming family, the leading man of Home Improvement, The Santa Clause and Jungle2Jungle and the leading lady of Look Who's Talking, Cheers and Veronica's Closet reach new comic heights together with the charisma and charm reminiscent of the great screen couples of the past.

For Richer or Poorer was directed by Bryan Spicer from a screenplay by Jana Howington and Steven Lukanic. A Sheinberg Production in association with Yorktown Productions, the film's producers are Sid, Jon and Bill Sheinberg, with Gayle Baigelman, Richard Baker and Rick Messina serving as executive producers. Michael S. Glick and Bruce Economou are co-producers.

The film also stars Michael Lerner, Larry Miller, Miguel A. Nuñez, Jr., Wayne Knight, Marla Maples, Megan Cavanagh, Katie Moore, Carrie Preston, John Pyper-Ferguson, Jay O. Sanders and Bobby Steggert.
