When those now-famous domestic pets: American bulldog Chance, golden retriever Shadow, and Himalayan cat Sassy, were separated from their human family in the 1993 Disney live-action film classic "Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey," audiences the world over took the courageous animals to their hearts and cheered as they successfully trekked through the wilderness, against nearly impossible odds, to find their way home. Now, those lovable quadrupeds once again find themselves on an adventure of a lifetime as they brave the unknown in the urban jungles of San Francisco, in Walt Disney Pictures' all-new live-action film for the whole family, "Homeward Bound II: Lost in San Francisco."

The pets' newest exciting journey begins when their devoted owners, the Seaver family (ROBERT HAYS, KIM GREIST, VERONICA LAUREN, KEVIN CHEVALIA, BENJ THALL) decide to take the trio with them on a camping trip to the Canadian Rockies, rather than risk any possibility of them being separated again. But when Chance escapes from his kennel at San Francisco International Airport, his loyal friends Shadow and Sassy band together to follow him. And when the plane takes off with out them, the companions find themselves wandering the rough and tumble streets of the city by the bay, searching for a way back to where they live in the suburbs.

Refusing to let anything stand in the way of their reaching their destination, the pets are caught up in the most incredible adventure of their lives, and meet up with a whole new pack of pooches and mutts including Riley, Pete, Ashcan, Spike, Stokey and Sledge, as well as the beautiful and seductive Delilah. Unavoidably confronted by danger, fun and excitement at every turn, Chance, Shadow and Sassy follow their hearts in order to return to the family who loves them.

A Walt Disney Pictures presentation, "Homeward Bound II: Lost in San Francisco" is directed by David R. Ellis, from a screenplay written by Chris Hauty and Julie Hickson, based upon characters from "The Incredible Journey" by Sheila
Burnford. The producer is Barry Jossen. Co-producers are James Pentecost and
Justis Greene. Buena Vista Pictures distributes.
