One summer night, somewhere in the south of France, a few children are playing in a barn. The family situation, though hard to understand, is almost accepted: the roles of the father, of the lover, of the boss, of the workers, of the mother and of the children are intermingled. Work, love and lewdness all mix. In this chaos, the mother appears as the main character, as the one who manage to make things easier to live and to protect the sweet yet conniving relationships between her children.
