Liv Ullmann's "Trolösa" tells the story of a married couple, Marianne and Markus, who lead a seemingly ideal life. Markus is a successful conductor, they have a lovely daughter named Isabelle and a great friend in David. David spends a lot of time at their apartment, telling stories to Isabelle and is like a member of the family. Things change, however, as Marianne's feelings for David shift from purely platonic to a strong sexual and emotional attraction.
