Review, by David Sterritt

A no man's land, in Southern Africa, a vast region where destitute peasants eke out a living. Adams and Kini are friends bound by a dream of making it to the city and hitting the big time. Instead, they invest their time and meager earnings into repairing an old beat-up car. Under the pressure of Kini's wife, they finally give up until the time when a workiste, which could bring them a decent living and fulfill their dreams, is going to settle. And then that the dream seems to turn out as reality, an unsuspected rivalry breaks out between the two friends and endanger their relationship. Can their friendship stand up to opposed interests?
