Poland in the early 50's. A young boy leaves the countryside and arrives in the city to continue his education. Living with his eccentric aunt, he goes through several humorous adventures. Both have a passion for horse-riding, which is considered as a historical vestige of past. Thanks to his retired aunt's enthusiasm, stubbornness and the many mishaps that follow, the young hero remains in the city experiencing everyday life and emotions while growing up. His aunt moves to the country in search of new adventures.
