In the 1930's labor strikes are taking place all around the country. Meanwhile in New York actors, actresses, artists and the like are part of a cultural revolution including such figures as Rockefeller and Da Vinci to name but a few. Orson Welles attempts to put on a political stage play called "The Cradle Will Rock" which is closed down by the government.
